In my opinion, that is the talk of a paranoid looney. JMHO.
I thought the world figured out awhile ago that nuclear proliferation was a bad thing.

Here's a plan...Let every country in the world have 1(ONE) only one nuclear weapon. It would be targeted at it's own capital and incapable of flying anywhere else. That way if a country elects, puts in power, or whatever else some idiot that threatens another nation it can nuke itself. No war no nothing, just a localized mushroom cloud and a new election.

JustKate JustKate: In my opinion.......I think Canada should have the bomb as a deterant from everyone as a defence. We have a large country full of resources that we need to protect. JMHO We are no threat to anyone. Never have been as a country. That's important to note here. Being naive never protected anyone. I lock my doors today, things have escalated, we need to consider that as Canadians. Once again.......out of our control...things change unfortunately.
I say if someone ever tries to come here for our resources, we employ a Canadian version of the "scorched earth" tactic.....

CANADA is one of the countries the world does respects.........As a defence, we are smart and rich and should have one under secrecy to announce if ever threatened. Hows that??????? We would be idiots not to do that. Kinda like Israel. Maybe they do.......maybe they don't? Let that be known. Smart tatics I believe. Accomplishes both our goals in the world and keeps us safe.

Okay, the Prime-Minister-Fuck-Everyone theory is that in the Prime Minister's office, there is a big shiny red button. If the Prime Minister pushes this button, all those square sidewalk cement block thingy's in Canada lift up to reveal a nuclear warhead for each one. Each warhead has the name of a city somewhere in the world, and goes to that destination.
That is the Prime-Minister-Fuck-Everyone theory.....

If only Canada had a large military, it could sort of be used as world police, but not brutality-like......It would be good for the world.....

Every night, at 4:30 in the morning, Stephen Harper runs into his office crying and screaming, and runs up to the button, finger ready to push it. But he pulls his hand away and says: "No! Not today precious....But soon...." And goes back to sleep......
Paul Martin almost pushed it after the Sponsorship scandal arose.....

JustKate...You and I both live in Saskatchewan so it might be a politically advantageous idea for us to have a few missle silos built here in good ole backasswards SK. Could use the construction jobs and if, heaven forbid, it does happen and we get nuked no one would be the wiser.
Why should Canada add to the multiple times the world can be destroyed by nuclear weapons? Who are we out to impress?
It is, plain and simple, not a good idea and it will never happen. We do not have nuclear capabilities no matter who you talk to and even it we do it is not first strike or deterrent. Personally I do not want to see that great mushroom cloud in the sky and I think that 99.1% of the rest of the world's population thinks the same.
