PrideofCanada PrideofCanada:
forgot to mention a few other things....

Penicillian is Canadian..

2way radios.... Yep canadian...

telephone... Canadian too....

apple pie... sorry yankees... thats canadian.....

We still know what to do with the parts of a buffalo.....

Superman.... sorry.... thats canadian...

Race to beat the sound barrier.... Canadian.. even after the americans stopped the jet engine at the border... we made our own and still kicked Ass....

Winnie the pooh.... Canadian... named after Winipeg Manitoba.

i'll think of more :D

Ok...a little more clarification on some of your misconceptions.

Winnie the Pooh was created by A.A. Milne. He was British and lived his whole life in England. He created the character because there was a bear in the zoo that was his sons favorite animal there. That bear was from Winnipeg and was named winnie....but the character and the story was created by an Englishman.

Superman.

he was the brainchild of Jerry Siegal who was born and raised in Ohio. He was friends with Joe Shuster who was born in Toronto but grew up in Cleveland. Joe drew the pictures of Superman....so it can be stated that Superman was really created by two people.....an american and a canadian.

Apple pie....i dont really think anyone can make a case for which country invented apple pie....besides...cherry is better.

I quote PrideofCanada as saying "Also - to figure something out, I made a call to a very good friend of mine in Michigan - I asked her if they Had Labatt's blue there, as Budweiser is strengthened for Canadian consumers. Blue is weakened for American palette. Goes to show, Americans like the flavour of used 3 week old dishwater."

Haha, living in Michigan myself, I offer you to come down sometime and try a Samuel Adams Utopias. With 25.6% alcohol by volume, I'll allow to contract you statement after trying one.

At $100+ a bottle, I would guess most American's aren't drinking it. So the stereotype is maintained...

On the other hand, Mongoose are about 4 bucks a pop, and that's for a litre. You can't go wrong with any beer portraying a Mongoose fighting a cobra on the can, both recognized Canadian animals.

Take that, yankees.

Well since the Budweiser here in Canada is brewed by labbatts. I fail to see where it would taste like water

Yeah right, they changed the recipe. Dream on....
