Come to Nova Scotia. You'll find plenty of bargains for beer, and good beer.

Its sort of sad, we get miller Genuine draft. and at the liquir store i visit often for wines and nummy spirits... theres dust on the cases. Asked my friend,. why isn't miller selling. he said "because its piss poor beer, and its leaving as fast as it got here!"

if I go bottled/canned beer, go imported. German lagers are far more superior.
(sorry for raising a dead topic, I was googling something for someone.. and poof this showed up.... so..... Being Canadian I "had" to throw in my two sense worth.

Basketball is canadian too... lol yay!

Also - to figure something out, I made a call to a very good friend of mine in Michigan - I asked her if they Had Labatt's blue there, as Budweiser is strengthened for Canadian consumers. Blue is weakened for American palette.

Goes to show, Americans like the flavour of used 3 week old dishwater.

Budweiser is RUBBISH! It's so weak it tastes almost like urine.

The British are right when they think that the Americans and Canadians can't take their alcohol.

Some American states even have laws prohibiting the sale of beer that is over 3.2% volume.

The beer that you wussies should drink is Tennent's Super, a British beer that is 9% volume.
But not just one can. Maybe around 9 pints of it with your mates after work.

I will have to do more research but I always thought that Tennents was from Scotland.....I would watch out Great Briton...if you are claiming this beer to be English then that might piss a lot of Scots off.....You dont want to have your ass kicked by William Wallace again do you

Plus, if you think more alcohol = better beer, you're a little slow on the uptake.

Too be truthful, its "not" a myth. American beer is a weaker base. You "can" get any website you want. I have managed many bars in my young life. I have been told that by many americans. But then again, what is American strongbeer? Colt 45? Ick. the left over beer at the bottom of the barrel. aka skunk piss.

Personally, I have a love for Corona, weak as water, a lady beer, but tasty with a bit of lime. As for that UK beer, their ales are bitter, strong, but only 9% volume. lol I drink wine thats 13.5 % alcohol. perhaps thats why dental isn't a major plus in the UK. their ale rots their mouth to death...

my advise.. Crest, rinse and repeat.. Crest.. rinse and repeat!

So if a bunch of people in a bar tell you that the sun is made of cheese you are going to believe them...even with all the evidence pointing to the contrary. You say you have managed bars but it is very evident that you are lacking in a knowledge of American beer
