I want to bash that the most political thing you can do these days is to be objective.

What ever happened to being idealistic? Nowadays if your a partisan hack it's 'ok' but the person who wants to just hear both sides is considered game for both sides. The holy grail that both sides must quest for. Being objective is a scary thing these days and I think it is something that should be encouraged and as the result of an objective audience will reap great rewards as hackery only degenerates into hate.
