So, my father is looking for a Place in BC, with so far no luck, can anyone suggest some cities, not too far from Vancouver or Victoria that i could tell him about? The faster he gets a house, the faster i can go visit BC :D

Hes living at hes cousins right now, don't want to over stay your welcome :P

Thanks in advance!

How about Vancouver or Victoria?

On the island Campbell River is actually quite a nice area. Pretty small city, but not inconveniently so. If he's after ocean and wilderness then it's great for that.

But yea, we really don't have much to go on without knowing more about what he's looking for.

I've heard it called the Campbell Riveria. That's the one I was going to recommend too. Just gorgeous. Two ferries and rough roads to get there though. Maybe he could just stop at Gibson's. That way you've got CR to the North, and Van to the South. Easy traveling distance both ways.

wonderful. Just what BC needs. One more person to help drive up our real estate prices, contribute to the endless development, and help destroy what used to be beautiful BC before eastern Canada moved here.
Too bad princess,if BC gets spoiled it will be from people with an attitude like yours.

BC is beautifull and only a ten minute drive from my house, its also treed quite heavily and different then the bush here in Alberta which is sparse and you can actually walk amongst the pines here.

I think he means Powell River, but the roads were good last time I was there.

Truth be told though, I was too busy looking at the views of the water and the beautiful arbutus trees to pay a whole lot of attention to the roads.

Ha....I was doing both, the roads are okay, 2 lane paved all the way to Powell River, and the scenery was GREAT seeing as I had a front seat on the ferry, seemed like the truck was making the trip itself!
