Love that last one Gunny. I don't know why, but B&W shots of old stuff is just cool, I've always liked them and enjoy taking them too.

That's one thing about northern Alberta, lotsa old stuff just laying around. With all the old farms around that are either abandoned or have been bought out, there are a lot of old farm equipment, vehicles, and buildings everywhere you go. Great subject matter, especially for B&W pics.

Yeah, the salt air would take care of a lot of stuff fairly quickly. There has to be some cool old buildings around there though. Old enough to be period for B&W or Sepia pictures. I'd also look along the shore, old boat houses, canneries, docks, ship wrecks. Victoria has been a naval base for how long? I bet there is a lot more subject matter than you think. That's half the fun of taking those types of pics, exploring for subject matter.... :D

Thanks Wada! It's the first few flakes that you can get. When it's too heavy they all meld into lumps.

Damn fine work EB!

It's been dark when the fresh snow started so far this year. We'll see tomorrow when I go back out for my final hunt of the season, hopefully get some more critter pictures too.
