Saw two wolves today in Elk Island National Park. It's the second time in 2 years that I have found wolf tracks in that area of the park!
So exciting!

This fella swam out to Discovery Island and spent the summer. I would live to get a closer look.

That's cool! Did he swim back?
Elk island is all fenced and it's said that the only predator is the coyote. In 2010 I came across mountain lion tracks and wolf tracks. I'm willing to bet the wolves are full time residents.
I'm going back out there tomorrow to see if I can find them.
