Maybe we should invade someone. That would get people interested again! <img align=absmiddle src='images/smilies/lol.gif' alt='Laughing Out Loud'>

I disagree. A sovereign Canada does not necessarily have to be an isolated Canada.

Ok Oost, you win. If you're not going to listen to what I have to say then there's no reason for me to even bother arguing with you. <img align=absmiddle src='images/smilies/mad.gif' alt='Angry'>

Oost I'm getting sick of this. You claim my opinion is slippery, media-influenced drivel and I find this insulting. You seem to think that unless I take a side in this pathetic little game of right vs. left football, my opinion doesn't matter. Calling me a hypocrite? Weren't you just criticizing the...

Sorry, I wasn't trying to say everyone here is anti-American, just that some of the comments that were made certainly were. Anyway I'm glad you see it that way. :) When an American asks us to explain why we act so anti-American, why didn't someone post something like that instead of calling him brai...

No you oost you shouldn't hold your tongue. Be vocal if you have something to say. But say something more than "Bush is a fascist pig. He's a cheater. Americans are stupid for voting Bush! They are not as enlightened as we Canadians!" A lot of the post I am seeing here are along those line...

Well Dave, even though I've argued over some of the points you list as our neighborly merits, overall I agree with what you are saying here. One of the smartest things I have seen posted on this thread so far. I wouldn't describe most Canadians as really anti-American. To disagree with the policies ...

[QUOTE]Sorry, Doc. <br /> <br />I just fail to understand why everyone has the energy to make yet another anti-Bush, anti-something to do with the U.S. comment or publish yet another 'look at what the U.S. is doing now' article, none of which serves to forward Canadian sovereignty, and y...

You want my opinion? The world is not black and white! I don't think I'm holier than anyone and I don't think you are all wrong and I'm right. I think everyone has a right to make their own decisions without being senselessly ridiculed. If you want to debate, then debate. Don't jump into an argument...

Hey Robert apology accepted and I too have been a little more vicious than usual in the last few daysso I apologize too for seeming so grumpy. <br /> <br />If you look at my previous posts you'll find that I do usually end up doing my best to clarify my position. I don't mind elaborating...

Ok Robert read the rest of my post. I'm getting sick of explaining my posts four or five times over because you can't take the time to actually read them over. <br /> <br />"Controversy is not good for neo-conservatives, and I doubt the neocon faction in his administration will want to s...

Jesus, you people can really get on a guy's nerves. You know exactly what I meant. America operates democratically. France, under Napoleon did not. One obvious difference is that Napoleon won power in a coup d'etat, while George Bush was actually elected. Enough rhetoric. If you have an actual argum...

Thank you for presuming I don't read a wide variety of books. Keep plugging your favorite books.
