I had a great aunt and uncle that never used a bank. Their part of the family had been here for over 300 years and none of them trusted banks. Kept the money stashed in walls and inside furniture. Some contractors were doing some work in the house once and made off with over $25k they found. They we...

The media has been wanting this to happen for a long time. All we can do is go on with our normal lives and practice good hygene until a vaccine is available. We can't hole ourselve up. The biggest thing that worries me about this one is how it affects the young kids more than other strains do. With...

A womanizer, pro-abortion and pro-gay and he will get a full Catholic funeral. Ain't politics wonderful? The other issue is, will this be as big an event as the death of Michael Jackson? I have to agree with you there. The family is full of people that would be in jail if it were not for ...

Sounds like he suffers from a poor attitude and enjoys hiding behind his minority status to get what he wants. Heaven forbid that the other officers take pride in their job and actually want to give 110%.

It all boils down to inattention to all parties involved. The driver should have paid more attention to his surroundings and the mother should have been paying a hell of a lot more attention to the road! There is no way I would ever assume that the way was clear just because I "Had the green&qu...

Yeah, Bush's approval went through the roof. Too bad he screwed things up to use the situation to take vengence on Sadam for making his daddy look bad. Had he focused on Osama instead of dragging us into the Iraq quagmire, things might be much different today. (Not wishing Sadam back, just think the...

The one consistancy that McCain had throughout the entire process was being respectful. There were many debates where Obama totally ran over McCain and wouldn't let him finish. Most of the time McCain would sit respectfully and let Obama finish. Maybe that is why McCain lost. There are too few court...

Think of it as an opportunity to get back to one's roots. There are still a wide range of "gasp" manually operated tools. Of course that requires physical exertion... [/sarcasm] I agree, the DIYers are the only loosers here. The contractors/tool renters aren't going to loose business since...

Of course, you know that the US will have to deploy in kind. Can't have the Red Menace to continue bolstering their forces on our border, especially after the Moon Attack on our purely defensive spy balloon.

You'll notice, Meee... I am one of the friendliest here   Been making cookies again, Bren? Has anyone else considered that maybe the reason the Scots' decided to release him was to keep from having being compelled by human rights cry-babies to treat him and give him pain meds during the f...
