In a modern city, it's ridiculous that SkyTrain stops running so early. On a Friday and Saturday night downtown it stops before the bars are even closed, which forces people to stay downtown or try to drive home.

Not really that surprising. Interesting to see that a company like Mercedes has picked up it's reliability greatly in a short amount of time, compared to the likes of GM.

How many people work for GM in Canada? The article says 10,000, and I'm curious how many indirect jobs depend on the auto maker (parts manufacturers, etc). Even if the number is 100,000 indirect jobs, $7.5 billion is a lot of money to prevent that many people from being unemployed. There had better ...

Lots of places are moving to open source software, and doe a country under heavy trade embargo, this makes sense.
