You are welcome. They are at it again, and I love the term AstroTurf fraud for leftist 'grassroots' events. I suppose it's no surprise that Leadnow is at it again with the fair elections act. If nothing else we should be extremely wary of being led around by the nose by radical groups and the media....

IMO this should be required reading and sure confirms we shouldn't believe everything the media tells us.

Well, one of the proposed amendments mean they will mintaining Elections Canada's discretion in appointing central poll supervisors. I'm pleased with that change.] They are also going to allow proof of address as ID... I wonder if Ontario and other provinces which don't allow vouching will now move ...

I dunno, the bit about the CBC distorting news and ignoring "ts responsibility to provide objective and balanced reporting to the public"y repeatedly omitting facts and pertinent information doesn't sound too far fetched. :D :D

Thanks for the correction. So what's the point of this legislation? Was there some problem how polling supervisors are selected? Mostly the whole act seems to be trying to solve problems that don't seem to exist (according to the guy who wrote the report) while not solving a very glaring one - the ...

The party who won the riding cannot name scrutineers at all, that is false, scrutineers are supplied as usual by the various parties. It has always been that the party who won the election (not the particular riding) picks the DRO, the opposition picks the poll clerks. That is only up until a certai...

I guess the opposition et al will be foaming at the mouth over this one. I guess it really does prove that this was nothing more than a media driven anti conservative story. I suppose all those who bought into it all, will not believe E.C. because the result doesn't suit their agendas. Wonder what B...

I'm sure we are all aware of the campaign to suppress opposing opinion on climate change; however, the examples given by Krauthammer are interesting in that they show just how far things have gone especially regarding enviro quackery. http://fullcomment.nationalpost.com/2014/04/12/charles-krauthamme...

Jabberwalker Jabberwalker:
They're demanding that we all take action about the disappearance of so many aboriginal women. I have to wonder how many of those aboriginal women have disappeared at the hands of aboriginal men?

I suspect a lot of them. At the least they leave home to hitchhike because of domestic violence.

Like the idea of a blockade going both ways... The Ontario Liberals didn't handle Caledonia very well, no doubt they would continue in the same manner. That is, cave in and let the Natives to anything they want.

I wonder if Hudak would have more balls or no ? I kinda doubt it.

It was a Liberal initiative? Oh…well then…who do these money-grubbing vets thnk they are? The New Veterans Charter was a Conservative thing. They even have Harper's speech introducing the thing (in 2006, not 2005, incidentally). http://pm.gc.ca/eng/news/2006/04/06/prime-minister-launches-new-vetera...

I don't think that's entirely true, he didn't lose. Agree about Suzuki and the premise that we should be able to criticize. The debate isn't settled data changes all the time, but the alarmists don't like to hear that. http://www.motherjones.com/environment/2014/01/michael-mann-climategate-court-vic...

12K does seem excessive, but remember the company comes in and does all the packing for you too, they don't just move the furniture into a van. He didn't break any rules but the gov't needs to revisit the issue of how much should be paid in real estate fees and distance involved. I don't think the t...

Before Global News published the information, at least part of it was leaked to CTV who published the details of Leslie’s move.... And Nicholson's department approved this supposedly "gross" expense. Where is Nicholson's accountability? He is respobsilbe, ultimately. But once again, it's ...
