Like the US, Canada vacillates. The tension between the war hawk and peace through cooperation advocates, has never been resolved.

Reasonable men like Pearson reject the ideas of ideologues like Mulroney and vice versa.

I agree, Trudeau was not the economist he could have been, but I think that Justin Trudeau is smart enough to be a fiscally responsible Liberal.
