I take it you've never been to Toronto. At least do some research. Toronto has a lower crime rate than Calgary. |

Promote cycling and walking. It worked for Sweden: more people commute by foot there than by car, and they have reduced obesity as a result. Agreed: Getting people out of their cars would be a big help. Unfortunately, a lot of people live in places that have been developed with the automobile first... |

I find the suburbs more appealing. Maybe less traffic. Plus, with public transportation, it seems like it is quite easy and fast going to the downtown area. I am leaning more towards the western section of the GTA. How is it over there? Mississauga, Burlington, Oakville. Looking pretty much for aff... |

Do you have a family? If you are single, you should live in the city. You can save a lot by not owning a car, and if you don't have school-aged kids you really shouldn't worry about "safety" in any part of Toronto. |

They are comparing two countries health care systems with the United States ranked at 37th and Canada at 30th according to the WHO. So there is still plenty of room for improvement.
