iPhone, even though the restrictiveness of the platform is the worst thing about it. It's top-tier hardware though.

Wow. I fed it total bullshit lies, telling it I did everything good that it listed except on things like what kind of a home I live in and where I lived and stuff, and it still came out to 1.14 Earths. I guess I have to move if I want to live "sustainably."

This is, I'm sure everyone will agree, patentely disgusting. No means no, no matter what. I hope this is swiftly appealed and reversed with stern rebuke to this judge.

3.91 Earths. You don't actually have to give an email address. You just have to answer a lot of loaded questions.

I have seen something else under the sun: The race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong, nor does food come to the wise or wealth to the brilliant or favor to the learned; but time and chance happen to them all.

I you think it's going to go away, you're seriously deluding yourself. Exactly what degree of income inequality do you think is right? India's? Income inequality is irrelevant. Equality of opportunity is what matters. And it's illusory. Even sidestepping the question of whether or not minorities ha...

Firefly was awesome. One of the best shows that was ever made. Catchy, original, fun, visually gorgeous, it'll be very hard for any show to beat it - including its own potential return. Right now we're watching Heroes on Netflix. Completely missed it on the original run. Season 1 was great. Not as g...

With Danielle Smith the leader of the WRA, Alison Redford running for PC leadership, and this, there's a non-zero chance we could have a three-woman race come the next election! That would be interesting.

16 year-olds have to grapple with issues like sex and abortion and drugs, and will be voters in two years so they'd better be well on their way to knowing something. Perhaps they should be allowed to work out their thoughts on such matters in private, but they do have to be thinking about them, and ...

Well, the CBC and others tout lies as truth all the time. I’m not excusing Oda. She should be booted as should any other lying shite of a politician. But that said, the media pretending that they are beyond reproach as they castigate a liar of equal ilk to any mainstream reporter, does stink of hig...

This is good: Immigration Minister Jason Kenney said Wednesday that Oda has apologized. When pressed by The Canadian Press on whether that was enough after misleading the House of Commons, Kenney shot back: ``The CBC lies all the time. What media are you with?'' http://thechronicleherald.ca/Front/9...

If cities enforced some of their bylaws on the books there would be quite the outrage. Here in Winnipeg there are bylaws concerning the minimum size of your closet space and kitchen cupboard sizes. I can see enforcing how you let your house fall into disarray or aweful colours but stay out of my be...

And if you're really convinced that violence never solves anything then make sure that you never call the police to commit violence on your behalf if you ever need them. Eugh, I was mostly agreeing with you though this thread, ignoring some of your more egregious calls for violence, but here...

They attempted to use violence and failed just as we are. A heavy handed approach to piracy seems to be destined to fail just as much as the war on drugs. Except there's a bit of a difference between carrying a toke and taking hostage the crew of a cargo ship. So what you're saying is that Somalian...
