grainfedprairieboy Agree completely. This is in poor taste and the OP isn't any better. Having said that, a 'smack upside the head' goes out to the staff for both allowing this to continue, and for permitting this to be posted in Politics. This is not politics, this is childish "my dad is bigge...

Anyone who joins a channel when empty, becomes mod/operator over that channel. Which is why when a channel is created, a staff list is made up, and people idle there. Insofar as people using others nic's... This is easily resolved by moving to a server that provides chanserv and nickserv. You regist...

@ Wullu This is a tech sub-forum, is it not? /end rhetoric Look, currently the issue in the vast majority of tech forums is WGA and all the issues that are tagged onto it. - Privacy/piracy, the effect this has on both illegitimate and legitmate users of OS products. - Lack of disclosure. - Deception...

Face it, the thing that worrys folks about the "kill switch" is that their theft will do them no good. Instead of making blanket and misplace accusations use that computer in front of you and educate yourself. And for those afraid of linux, try Suse 10. In alignment with our anti-piracy p...
