Paying cash also means there's no paper trail to guarantee the work being done properly. Probably also means there are no permits which means it may not be done to code.

That was my first thought as well.
I wouldn't pay cash to someone who was doing major work for me.

Alright, never going to Guam.

I'd go back there in a minute. Friendly people, beautiful beaches, and cheap booze!

I can handle all of those too. :P But I have a real dislike for spiders. Snakes I'm okay with.

Ahhh, Vegas. I was there for the first time in March, and really enjoyed it. It wasn't for my boyfriend though, he didn't care too much for it. I'll be going back next month with my sister, who hasn't been there yet. And then, as it turns out, a few of my friends are going to be there at the same ti...

Glad to see that I'm not of the norm... again/still. Generation Y consumers, those born since 1983, have been the driving force with increased spending on luxury fashion by 33 per cent, travel by 74 per and fine dining by 102 per cent. And 60 per cent of those shoppers were men. Luxury fashion - no ...

Ummm, we got about 7 inches of snow at work in about three hours. But driving down the mountain was the test to see just how good the new winter tires on my car are. They are excellent!

I just watched the documentary 'Generation Rx' last night. It was all about loading up kids and teens with all sorts of prescription drugs. It's actually pretty disturbing how quick people are to give their children all these drugs without any thought as to how it might effect the chemistry in the d...
