i thought it was funny. I don't really see it as offensive to gay men, i think the whole idea was that speed walking is a false attempt at staying fit, mine as well give in to junk food....if it does have a gay connotation, i didn't pick it up from watching the ad.

The problem is there are no political parties that actually represent what the Canadian people are looking for. Conservatives are just too right wing for me, and Dion could be focusing on so many other important issues than the enviornment.

Just to clear up the record, the reason why Quebec backed off so fast from the whole separatist movement was because there was a dispute amongst borders. When Quebec joined confed, they consisted of at least three cities amongst the St. Lawrence, the borders they have now were designated to them ove...

it doesn't surprise me...China's got the world at it's knees, especially the US. Why change a damn thing when they can have their cake and eat it too.

that's not the point, GST is a flat tax meaning that people with higher incomes tend to buy more things and therefore pay more GST. And being part of a mid-income family i really don't see how an extra (3 bucks max.) pocket of change is gonna make a difference. I would say lower income families woul...

I spend about US$70 per week on gas now. I'll say that it isn't bothering me so much in that traffic is noticeably lighter on the roads lately and due to that my mileage is higher and my commute time is about half or even less of what it had been six months ago. I'd support an increase in gas taxes...

I hope he does, to be honest, there needs to be a new leader of the liberal party. No offense to Dion but I'm not really liking his political platform, the liberals can do better.

1 - Is this guy for real? Is he insane? I've never heard of him, is he the latest Carolyn Parrish? 2 - Do you agree with him? 3 - Will the Liberal Party apologise, deny or otherwise spin this tomorrow? Should or will they care? 4 – Do you think they can pull it off and keep Alberta in Confederation...

The environment is dependant on so many factors, to say that the melting of the arctic waters is primarily global warming is an ill-informed statement. However, although I think that climate change is a natural cycle, green house gas emissions and pollution must play some factor to quicken these ef...

It would be funny to watch the conservatives have to remberse taxpayers for the money they spent. It would send a message to all political parties to think again before they use the public's money for campaign purposes.
