I think this article just goes to show that the Conservatives need to get their shit together if they want to stay in office. With tax cuts and a deficit, they need to start to spend smart and make sure their policies are in line with their finances and the economy; or there soon might be a liberal ...

I highly doubt its going to end there. I can see major disputes held in the ICJ over this territory. And after thats decided, then comes the whole enviornment vs. drilling dispute.

agreed, many countries have some rather stupid laws, the problem is religion should never be used as a rudder when running a country. Its sad really, Hammurabi's code was created in the middle east, but countries are content instead with using Sharia Law. but back to the topic at hand, Vince Li. I ...

I understand that if Li had a mental disorder, it would be unfair to punish him accordingly given that the mens Rea of the offence was lacking. However, to make him NCR wouldn't be fair either. He should at least be charged with some form of criminal negligence, there are so many mentally unstable i...

I'm not liking the Greenshift. Dion is really sketchy on the details and I don't know if it's a political move because he knows that if he gets into the details of the policy; people will not agree or if it's because he doesn't know himself.

HAHA i think this whole article is BS. First thing of all, i have been following this story since the beginning and this is the first time i have read about a supposed unlocked briefcase that Couillard happened to open and happened to have found classified documents. Clearly this is damage control, ...

I think there have been enough studies that show that longer prison sentences for repeated offenders and first time offenders do not work. And using incarceration as a prime method of deterring offenders is costly and will eventually result in overcrowding. That's perfect, lets just keep all the cri...

It was only a matter of time that the "reverse onus" would be challenged. The sad part is it can actually be struck down when you really look at the written statute. I must give harper credit, it was a good law passed in order to prevent or slightly disrupt criminal behavior, however it pr...

Definitely this moron should be charged first-degree murder and tossed away. I guess some Liberal judge feels this guy is worthy of being returned to the streets at some day in the future. I only wish he had killed the judges daughter. Just so you know, given the supposed "evidence", it a...
