Now it's a bit off topic but before you go any further MCB, let me ask you something, do you know anything about the private schools within the GTA? I do, because I attended one of them and in fact, played against Upper Canada in more than one sport. Just because someone has the money to be able to... |

Okay, it's really really REALLY stupid to pretend to know anything about another person's life on this forum. Well actually, no it's not when said person has previously posted about it on this forum. Anyone that would wait 2 years, for what they consider to be a life threatening illness, to get tre... |

Okay, it's really really REALLY stupid to pretend to know anything about another person's life on this forum. Why is nobody commenting on the WHO report? Is it because it proves the Canadian health care system is too top heavy with administration? |

Why do people keep saying things like "In the USA, people don't get care who can't afford it"?????? Why does having a private delivery system have to mean we adopt a US style system? Canada can come up with a made-in-Canada middle ground. As for my previous statement that Canada ranks highly with do... |

Everyone loves our health care system... that is until you get sick or injured. Canada is among the world leaders in dollars spent for health care, yet is near the bottom of the list when it comes to how those dollars actually benefit patients. This tells me that our country needs a major overhaul i... |

I'm sure you can come up with examples that don't work, but there are examples of countries where it does work, like New Zealand. I don't want to get into a country by country debate of where it works, and where it doesn't. I'm hoping for an intelligent debate on the pros and cons of changing our el... |

This first past the post system really has to go! I personally want this current batch of Liberals out of government. They do not deserve, in my opinion, to govern any more. I do plan on voting for the Conservatives, but I do value leftist policy to strengthen debate, and to stop the right from goin... |

(only after letting our soldiers risk their lives every time they flew in an aging Sea King.) So long as the canadian military was maintaining them they were at no real risk flying the Sea Kings. Their aging and should be replaced but we're hardly talking a death trap... No risk? Really? Why not as... |

You really think I'm a member of the Conservative party? Seriously, this is beyond partisanship. It's about booting out a bunch of stealing thugs who don't deserve another chance. |

I don't know how many other people are terrified about the potential cost of the Liberals enacting legislation to ban hand guns. If it resembles the gun registry in any way, it's going to be plenty of $$$$$$$$$$$$. Can we really trust this group of Liberals with our hard earned tax dollars any more?... |

These activists make me sick. The people NEED this hunt for two reasons. First is the short term gain of badly needed cash. Secondly, the long term goal of rebuilding fish stocks. These same activists would shake their head and say "Canada has done nothing to rebuild the fish stocks" if the cod are ... |

Hmmm, why would the people in Lower Canada opt to help the Americans against the English? Hmmmmm. Couldn't have anything to do with not wanting to be totally surrounded by the country that defeated them could it? By this time, France has pretty much abandoned North America. The French you speak of a... |

Been reading this thread, and finding it quite interesting. It's been said that Canadians, more than any other nationality, will stay in the US after extended time there. This does make a lot of sense. Canada and the US are neighbours, sharing the world's longest undefended border. While some people... |
