CKA's response? - "ACAB! Defund now! We should copy San Francisco and it's successfully law & order strategy!". I often agree with you, but please link to some posts that say that, because from my recollection, most people here think we still need cops, but that they shouldn't be sent...

Youth crime has always been a problem, do you even remember the 80s and 90s? I'm not saying this to defend the BS or the right or the left, but lots of young people are stupid little assholes, and the current political divide has little to do with it. The big difference now is that there are cameras...

PP to me, is just a right wing version of Trudeau. I dislike both men intensely. Trudeau is the best of a bunch of bad choices when you compare him to Harper, Scheer, O'Toole or PP. No less than four of the Cabinet ministers Trudeau shipped off to the backbenches have already said they're not runni...

When asked by a Calgary Herald columnist what would happen if a cruise ship ran aground in Canada’s Arctic waters, security expert David Bercuson responded, “We dial 1-800-IVAN.” Only Russia, he asserted, has the “necessary ships and equipment to do that job.” Not only is that statement false, it a...

Too little, too late. Canada should have built this project 20 or 30 years ago and shipped LNG to Japan, which has been using it for decades.

Alberta’s tech minister to ‘explore feasibility’ of health spending accounts Smith has been talking about health spending accounts for years, publishing a paper through the University of Calgary’s School of Public Policy in 2021 with a prescription to create $4 billion in new user fees. Before beco...

Funny article as some of the twitter comments made in response are quoted in it. The company not only made the "stolen lands" comment about Canada but also about the USA. Companies should stay out of politics and focus on what they do. I've never bought Ben & Jerry ice cream. Is it go...

I stumbled across a report card from when I was a kid, it used A/B/C/D/F, but Edmonton Public School no longer uses letter grades, instead it now uses Exemplary, Proficient, Adequate and Limited...basically A/B/C/F. In junior and senior high, they do give out number grades and use the A/B/C/D/F rank...

Best case scenario is it went crunch. Other than the researcher in it, the rest are billionaires and frankly I don't give a shit about them. But I also hope they didn't suffer needlessly. Agreed - I think this pretty much encapsulates my feelings on this incident: https://pbs.twimg.com/...

Can somebody like DrCaleb rep you for me? Done. Would have anyway. Thanks! Same as when people bitch about road construction/improvements/upgrading creating necessary detours and delays. There is NEVER a good time to work on these projects and it's usually a short period of time to make the commute...
