This has already been answered two years ago. Canada also is making a substantial investment in the Joint Strike Fighter program. The Canadians plan to buy 80 F-35 conventional-take-off-and-landing aircraft to replace its CF-18 aircraft. Link: http://www.defenselink.mil/News/NewsArticle.aspx?id=2401

The Herc is a workhorse and it's good to see some replacements finally being bought. The only probelm I have with the deal is this; In addition to building the planes, Lockheed, as prime contractor, would also be responsible for the maintenance contract. That is a change from past practice where th...

Doomsday, you think way too highly of your countries potential. For a start, I believe Canada is still part of the commonwealth, Britain's involvement alone in a fight against the US over the most unjustified war would... well it would almost be funny. You should give it a go, it would be the state...

No surprise here. This is the way an integrated AIR DEFENCE should work. The Bears will be nervous about stealthy stuff showing up without warning and make no doubt they will be there to evaluate just how stealthy the F22 really is. The F22 does not deploy in peacetime the same way it would deploy ...

Well according to the Trivia Master, how can a country that doesn't officially exist sign the necessary documentation to officially end a war? Post WWII, there was East & West Germany... not a united Germany that had started the war. So when the wall fell, Germany was reunited as one again. So n...
