Actually, Genesis, Ch one and two is understood to be oral tradition of God forming people. To believe in it literally is a misnomer. I won't get into it right now, again, it is not this discussion or thread. Then all of the Bible is a misnomer(especially the old testament) since it all began orall... |

But one can not find error with God, it is impossible. Actually, I can. God lied to Adam and Eve. Lying is a sin. Theoretically, God should confess to himself or spend eternity in Hell... Actually, Genesis, Ch one and two is understood to be oral tradition of God forming people. To believe in... |

they are just books with ideaolgies. The same could be said for every religious text in the world... No, because they do not all hold concepts of God and the heavens. Thing people don't understand is that God came first, then people and books. And is it not amazing that people do believe in ... |

Bara, You aren't debating, you are preaching. I do know you. I know your kind and have you pretty much pegged and the fact that all you do is repost the same sermon without any true attempt at point by point debate confirms it. You know nothing about the religions of others but the strawman version... |

Where is BC at a time like this. His absense would be my fault. I proved using the Bible that God lied to Adam and Eve, and he probably went off to cry to his preacher about it. ROTFL Ah, so which version of Genesis did you refer to Ch 1 or 2. And what on earth do humans have over God. We ha... |

I discuss things I do know and some things I am willing to learn or discover, because I don't know it all, nor could anyone on earth claim such a thing. That is why faith is wonderful because people start discerning through the power of the Holy Spirit where their energies should be utilized. Howeve... |

DerbyX Go back and re read my posts. You make a lot of assumptions and from your words, for sure you do not understand the history of the Catholic Church in its entirety, only piecemeal of which you have been fed or had interest and there is a lot out there to sift through. Most obviously you never ... |

Thanks for the clarification Montrealaise. Sorry, I misunderstood your intentions, I am a little sensitive lately. Back to the Original topic. I guess my problem is I first thought that Hindus wants us to have their version sung at the Olympics. Just a thought because Allen is on the committee. My s... |

Actually, uwish, I don't agree with the ban to tell the truth and I did mention this. But I also don't agree with many of the books they put in schools in this day for the sake of anything and all. But when I see young people or people in general make such wide sweeping statements as if the Church i... |

A long winded and tired old sermon ignoring all the hate, all the violence, all the death your religion has seeded the planet with. Entire cultures, entire faiths gone from existence all for the greater glory of your god, one of the many mankind has worshipped throughout the ages. People were burne... |

What amazes many is that so many remain Christian or Catholic, not matter how they try to take it down or disparage. Because they never look at the way, truth and life or discover it. And they can never take away what already is known and true, Jesus is the way, truth and life and nothing can rock ... |

Is it not mostly that there is a disparagement to the Magesterium and some Catholic controversial concepts in the Golden compass and perhaps some misintepretation? That happens all the time. the mass ignorance about the Catholic faith is phenomenal. My own neighbour tells me things that makes me sha... |

Nope, Brenda,
Let us just say perhaps I like to believe I live on a Lost Island. Surrounded by lots of water, but not too far to truly get where I have to get, if I want to get there. |

I don't think prostitution should be legalized. And this is a start to stop paying for sex in this fashion. Or paying for it at all. There has to be something done, these women selling their bodies, being controlled normally by a Man to make more money for him. (Of course we know it goes visa versa ... |

I am not saying nuttin' about B.C. anymore. Too many people moving here has pushed prices in my area sky high. I guess I am getting to be one of those "people" trying to keep things the best kept secrets. He's living with his Native American uncle in Campbell River now... I doubt he's aff... |
