They probably could have had a BoB feel to it if they had followed the Marine Raiders.

Of course the problem with that is the "copying" of BoB label possibly being applied and the fact that the Raiders did not survive the war as an intact unit.

Meh. Entertaining, but no where near as good as BoB to this point.

There just are not any characters to really give a damn about.

William Sadler as the legendary "Chesty" Puller is the only one that interests me so far.

The Finnish campaign to repluse the Soviets is one of the greatest stories that no one outside of Finland knows much about.

I have only found a couple small articles here and there, but the Finns really laid the Sovs out, when it should have been no contest what so ever for the USSR.

I am the first person to remind folks that get seatbelt, helment, speeding tickets etc, that driving is a privledge. But! We live in an extremely car centric world. Telling someone they can longer drive is a tough one. I know. They pulled my license a couple years back after I had a heart attack and...

He's upgraded.

In '04 it was a completely chrome plated 911.

Thing was a freaking hazard. All the sun and the glare? It hurt to look at while it was standing still when I saw it parked at the Wild Wadi water park, wouldn't want to meet it coming toward you on the road.

I understand and appreciate the sentiment, but no. There is only one Vimy Memorial and any copy of it would be just that, a copy. No different than a picture of the Memorial. Like looking at a print of the Mona Lisa. If you have any feelings for this country, there is no way to prepare yourself for ...

Not real surprising.

Every documentary I watched on this thing left me with the "this thing is gonna be a cast iron PITA to debug and get working" feeling.

An incredibly complex and incredibly daring piece of engineering.

Lot's of experts created by that movie. The other bonus is now reporters can pad their stories with movie references. Speaking of stories, HT should bring back Danger UXB. I loved that show!! So many great UK dramas from the 80s. "Minder" would be the other one I would love to see again.
