Did we have gangs of 12 to 16 year old girls swarming and mugging adults. I was in a few and watched a lot of scraps as a teenager in the 70's. never once seen a knife ever pulled. No one had guns. I was actually just watching the CBC and I learned that the overall youth crime rate is lower than it was, including the violent crime rate. This is due to the corresponding demographics of youth in Canada. |

Well its good to see Harper is bent on adopting another Bush policy to lead our country into a failed plan. Slapping tougher penalties on youth offenders will do very little to alleviate the problem. Sure they are, have you ever been in a GM Ford or Chrysler plant? That’s exactly what screwed them. Yes, in fact, B.C does have a great economy, and has a high child poverty rate of 20%. If you look at many of the parental guardians of these children, they work constantly, and still manage to be poor. Suggesting then, to get completely rid of any pro-worker support is just another slap in the face... |

I dont know the number but rem. they had an army still in China and it was winning they could have pulled them all back and put up one hell of a defense. They probably would have lost about half of those troops crossing back to Japan but still that would have added a lot of more man power to their ... |
