I had to wade through hip deep water to get home, during the last flood(last week), and here they don't have seperate storm and sewer lines. Yep, that's right, up to my hips in shit and piss. A couple of years back, we had a tropical front stall out on top of us. One woman in our building drowned wh... |

I like Arnie's line in Red Heat, when asked how Russian cops dealt with stress. "Vodka." |

I'm living in southern Taiwan and we had the coldest winter I 've ever experienced here and one of the coldest the locals can remember. Our overnight lows actually dropped to 3 C and this along with weeks of rain, wind, buildings made of concrete with no heating or insulation made it a little uncomf... |

If the level of public funding was maintained for public health care then the arguement for private clinics having superior care and the public hospitals having inferior care, would be rendered null and void. It is a matter of timely access to services rather than the quality of services that concer... |

kerfuffled kerfuffled: To take home from the bar for drunken shagging>Pam To take home to Mother> Shania
Both would qualify for the initial situation, but who you'd want to wake up with sober is another matter entirely. |

China's sole desire/obsession is to establish itself as the sole superpower in Asia. It continues to develop its offensive and defensive capabilities and maintains a belligerent attitude. It now has an effective ballistic sub launched nuclear vehicle. http://www.taipeitimes.com/News/taiwan/archives/... |

My vote goes for Shania Twain. She's an unaugmented natural beauty who only seems to improve with time, while Pam... she's just getting harsh looking. One is Hellooo !! the other is lookin like a ho. Let's hear your opinions. |

The guy was out to kill a couple of children from the start. When he couldn't find them he took his frustrations out on the little boy. Let's hope that the police take their frustrations out on him and his buddies for a looooong time. Let them heal and start all over again. |

My cousin went to RMC and thought it was one of the best experiences of his life. Got his engineering degree, worked as an engineer for the military for five years and got a whack of experience and job offers. I was offered the chance to go to RRMC when it was still a military establishment, but opt... |

At the time Constantinople was sacked, it was hardly in a position to hold off the might of the Ottomans. The Balkans spent most of the next 400 years under the control of the Turks, which was not necessarily a bad thing because it was likely one of the stablest times they ever enjoyed. It was almos... |

Last year Canadian politician's rallied around Ukraine's Orange Revolution, claiming that they had to show solidarity with a people fighting for the right for self determination. Events sincehave shown that it is highly doubtful if democracy will ever take root there. On the other side of the Eurasi... |
