Why should you respect or tolerate an ideology that encourages its followers to destroy your culture, your institutions, and everything you've worked for in life? That would be Christianity my pretentious friend. :D Christianity is Western Civilization. It has done more preserving than destroying. ... |

The system is an abject failure as is its watered down version, socialism. Sweden annd New Zealand being prime examples of the latter and China and Eastern Europe (Russia ... |

Aushwitz was filled with innocent people, who were butchered by a terrorist regime because they worshipped God on different day. Guantanamo Bay is a prison full of terrorists who want(ed) to kill innocent people because they worship God on a dfferent day. |

I'm all for learning other languages. My eldest son is enrolled in the public school system here in Taiwan (the only weigworen in the entire division) and my wife and I plan on putting our youngest into Chinese day care when he turns three. I'm against gov't enforcement/legislation of French in part... |

That said, the policy of official bilingualism should be a regional/municipal issue rather than a federal one. In Manitoba, Ukrainian and... |

The French fleet was sunk by the British because they refused to scuttle their own ships after the Germans seized Paris and the Vichy regime took over. It is also interesting that when the allies landed in Syria (today Lebanon and Syria) they battled French troops, rather than German forces initiall... |
