If we called Afghanistan a peacekeeping mission I wonder if more people would have supported it. The mission was going to end in 2011 anyways unless the Conservatives could convince the Liberals to stay a little longer, which wasn't going to happen. I hate what this is going to do for the Taliban. I... |

A paraphrase usually credited to Churchill originated with Francois Guisot (Guizot) (1787-1874): "Not to be a republican at twenty is proof of want of heart; to be one at thirty is proof of want of head." So we expect most young people to vote left...WHEN they can be bothered to vote at a... |

Exactly. Actually, I am kinda surprised by the reactions in this thread... This only graveyard in town, does have a section for other religions, it is the municipal graveyard, yet, you cannot be burried there as an Atheist. Euhmmmmm, WHY?? There is no place else to be burried, and the son's backyar... |

C.M. Burns C.M. Burns: But, since we lock them up and let them out, we should be doing whatever is necessary to ensure that they don't re-offend. Death sentences? No.
What?
Not that I'm advocating death sentences. |

That is not the same thing, they are 'escorting' food. They are not handing them out. Infact that article further proves my point that the Navy is a support tool. They are supporting the people who are handing out the food by escorting them safely to there destination. Aid workers hand the food out... |

Oh right they don't, thats the Army's job. When was the last time the AirForce or Navy when in warfare get on the ground and fi... |

Russia likes to pretend that they're still a superpower. Don't get me wrong Russia is still strong but lets keep it realistic here Russia isn't about to attack a NATO country. |
