Blaming Lebanese/Palestinian Canadians for being concerned about their home countriy, where many of them will still have friends and family, is a perfect example of why those people will never vote Conservative.

Your statements don't follow from what you quoted...

Dion is saying, essentially, that if people understood the goals of the mission more clearly, they would support it.

Where does he imply that the goal of the mission isn't clear to the troops?

Looked into this a little bit....

There is a membership appeal process in the Liberal Party and Mr. Côté may be interested in appealing the decision to revoke his membership.

I'm hearing that Mr. Dion isn't going to make any recomendations one way or the other if he seeks an appeal.

With some of the things coming concerning what might be in the budget, there's really no wonder that Liberals would be 'likely' to oppose it.

They are, after all, the opposition.

Still, nobody is saying they're going to vote against it for sure.

While this is a good point, Clog, you may also mention that Canada at present has only a PROPOSED constitution, and until every province accepts it, it remains as such. Quebec has not.
