I could care less how an american would feel to read that. I tell you what if your so superior and ...

I found it hilarious!!!! Its about time Canadian Leftists feel the wrath of the US freedom brigade (Hannity, Coulter and Carlson). Let's just call it a little retribution to the attack ads on Canadian conservatives in the last election. I call that a bunch of bullshit. Your so quick to jump down so...

Those points are based on what I see around me .A weaken neglected military less and less capable of maintaining our sovereignty .Big unions (government ones in particular)demanding more and more of tax payers ( read wage increases). Finally the shame that some bring on our nation by hurling insults...

True North my question wasn't to question your right to post, but why exactly did you post what you did. Just to start an argument? Define kickass ? Certainly not military. We do kick ass at whining for government handouts. Some of our citizens kick ass at offening the southern giant that we share t...

So in other words, its not just the oil that's making Alberta wealthy. It's exactly the oil, the only reason those other industries are there is because of the low tax rate which is offset by the oil revenue. It's also funny how King Ralph takes credit for making alberta what it is today, but a sha...

Yes but that was then. Times have changed since 1994. Albertans have realised their fiscal capacity, and discovered how Canada is draining their money. I remember a time not so long ago, when oil wasn't what it is today and Alberta needed Canada. So I guess it's okay to use Canada when the chips ar...

Sure Alberta can seperate, they can all move down to the U.S. If I'm not mistaken Alberta was formed from land owned by the federal government, purchased from the Hudson's Bay company. They didn't enter confederation like BC, they have no right to leave.

That's perfectly feasible, Ruez...push up the price of energy and they'll come back to the table pretty damned quick.

I'm just thinking that King Ralph would never agree to something that would reduce his precious oil revenue.

I think this is a long time in coming, and about time. As a BC'er, I've seen the result of there rediculous sanctions on lumber. What's worse is that we've won every single wto, and nafta decision, yet they refuse to honor them. I personally would like to see a levy put on the oil and electricity we...
