I've heard the 'radio show' live and that guy was clearly joking. Very dark joke, but you have to know the 'shock jock' he is. He explained later in the show that stray cats are a real nuisance in his town and that several citizens asked for him to do something. He is hosting a show on a new radio s...

If there are race riots the race baiters are responsible. The evidence was never there to justify this even being brought to trial I wholly agree. This case wasn't racial at all, but people are making it out to be. Nice to see the Black Panthers are in Sanford, Florida, I'm sure that will end well....

I was curious about that. I would have thought the brakes would be designed "fail-close" (that is, if power (air pressure) fails, the brakes are on; it takes power to relieve the brake). They are supposed to fail close. If that train had a standard break setup, it would have had to sit fo...

I remember some years back, Warren Buffet bought a railroad line, invested in others and said that the economic recovery will come from railroads. Some bad mouths even said that he used his friendship with Obama to stall the Keystone XL pipeline. Well, again, Buffet was right and he sure made a lot ...

Martin, it's a conspiracy to hide the other conspiracy of the Boston bombings ! He's just an actor and has nothing to do with a 'terrorist plot'. :!:
First off, the product is a foreign product, and the language laws state that if a foreign product is available in English only, it is allowed.
Actually, no. The law says that if a label is a trademark, it is protected by international laws that says that a company can operate...

DanSC DanSC:
I hope Quebec is brave enough to ban these Francophobic spoons and imprison the Americans who created them.

The language police is investigating this outrageous act against Québécois and should deliver a report soon. Stay tuned.

There was a by-law passed last year in Montreal, after the months of riots, to ban wearing masks while attending a manifestation. Not just a riot. This spring, when the weather began to be 'manifestable', the anarchists tried to start again with the manifestations. The police began AT LAST to arrest...

It depends of the job you want but if you are not working in the service sector with clients, you should be fine to find a job downtown. Also, french classes are often offered by big employers. If not, you can apply for classes with the government. I work at a place with 200+ people and a lot of the...

Wow, this thread hasn't collapsed into a free-for-all. I'm surprised. My stance on abortion in Canada is that it needs actual legislation in this country, and not the No-Man's Land status it has right now. Of course, it'd be political suicide to even bring it up. Sadly, I'm expecting a case that wo...

What would be a game changer is if Suspect Number Two decides to rush the boat into the law enforcements.
