Assuming that Canadian media presents a balanced view of the world this would be bad. Being that the reality is very different, I'm glad the CBC got it in the a#*, BOHICA CBC.

the issue of lowering the flag for the fallen soldiers came about because of the numbers we have lost... its about respect... which the tory government has none of... Last I checked eastern Afghanistan was no club med...maybe I'm wrong? You're all pretty quick to call them cowards, simply because they are french A quick google seems to show that there is a fair amount of military activity in eastern Afghanistan.
