Privilege and rights are not the same thing. Why should Christianity have rights over all other religions?

Don't bother, he doesn't even understand the difference between a moment of silence, which nobody has a problem with, including the SCC, and an out loud prayer to a particular deity during a government function. Yet he would shit his britches if somebody at at government function started a function...

And demanding it's removal isn't. Give me a valid reason why one religion should have privilege over all others? The only way to show tolerance in this situation is too either have no prayer at all, or a moment of silent for each person to pray silently to whatever god or whatever they believe, or ...

Longterm or permanent prison sentences should be for those who really pose a danger to society at large. This kind of mentality would reduce costs and reduce the crowding in our prisons. I went to a Catholic school, so there were prayers in the morning. In the public schools in Ontario, there are none. I so wanted to goto a public school. At least my college was public.

A common sense ruling, government in Canada is secular, so unless every religion get's their prayers during prayer time, no religion can.

As a renter myself (basement room, shared entire basement). I severely dislike those who trash the owner's property. Just makes me look bad even though, while a bit messy, I don't ruin anything.

You know what I find kind of funny? The U.S has it's worst prison on land in a country that until recently they had an embargo against. And tried to kill their leader once. The Bay of Pigs, was an utter failure, as everyone knows.

I think the way he was treated was shitty but I also think that giving him the Order of Canada is ridiculous, he didn't do anything noble for Canada at all.


He was treated far better than he deserved.


I think sending someone to Gitmo' on shaky grounds, is never good.
