Did see his reference (Blessed be the Holy Charter of Rights) to the disgusting lack of any celebration at the Charter's 25th and 30th anniversaries? That doesn't bode well to me. The left of centre just went a lot further left. Maybe Stevie will get my vote after all. Trudeau is going to be an old ...

So, does anybody think this guy was acting in a reasonable manner prior to arrest? Walking down a rural road with an AR-15 combat assault rifle? The rest of it is the usual 'Freemen of the land' crap we are all dealing with. I would think in Canada he would have been taken down at gun point and any ...

Very tragic. Awfully close timing to the Boston murders.

I agree PD. But that Pandora's box was opened in the 1970's (CCTV). At least the cops have to tell you you are on video. I'd say the other 99% of video is recorded without your consent quite lawfully. Social media has made detection of crime much easier. People seem to enjoy recording themselves bre...

Well, Big Brother is here. Only not in the way Orwell thought (maybe in the UK) but in a kind of collective and NGO invasion of our privacy with our consent. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube etc. People post information that would never be released or looked at by a government agency. By their own consent...

Using the media as a source of legal knowledge and jurisprudence is fraught with credibilty issues. No insults PD, I'm just telling it as I see it.

There is no offence.

Can't help but agree Shep. We can always champion our humanity. Maybe it's a bit sad that we are so taken back and surprised by people simply wanting to help each other during chaos. But then, after the chaos, all of us are untrustworthy. Each escalation brings about a greater and greater disconnec...

There'll be lots of people in Britain looking with glee at a city which funded the IRA suffering from an IRA-like attack. Now Bostonians know what the people of Britain had to put up with for many years - rather than an isolated attack like Boston - by a terror organisation which they funded. Anoth...

What a load of old crap. The Tories have become the Liberals.

Trudeau, on our streets, without his shirt, in Canada......

Tha's exactly it Johnny. This stuff happens routinely. This just got some air-time. What the media reports on is as fickle as the reporter. Remember when we had a spate of truck wheels flying off trucks in Ontario? It was a big story, special spread in the Star, CBC local news hammered the shite out...

Well look at that, even you have two brain cells that came up with statement. Because, hey, guess what, there are Arabs that are citizens of Israel, and said citizens aren't being marched to the gas chamber. You are correct. But it doesn't mean that they like each other. Consider the persecution of...
