I say we skip this whole manned military flight thing and just skip to drones. They come in all sorts of varieties, and all you need is a 15 year old kid with a joystick to run one from the safety of his own home. It's cheep and easy I say :D

There is a great deal to be said for finding cost savings or order to help make things run smoother and in a more sustainable way. First off is the issue of money for health care ending up in general revenue instead. Money earmarked for health care should absolutely never be used for anything but he...

Not much of a bet there, failed Liberal party leaders generally don't last long after defeat.

If only we could institute Mixed Member Proportional Representation. Then my vote would actually count... and maybe then we could outlaw all political parties. While I don't think you could ever really get away with banning parties/factions/etc since people will be people and people like to be seen...

Get used to minorities, this is the new face of Canadian democracy. It's the way it should be. Majorities only create near dictatorships when ruling parties can push through anything they like and the opposition can't do a darn thing about it. This isn't a partisan issue it's about there being a lar...

1. Political Reform (representative government, accountability, and end to politics that divide rather than include.) 2. Environment & Economy (because you can't really have one without the other... especially here in Alberta where pretty much everything is about resources.) 3. An end to corpora...

Lets be honest here, nobody 'won' last night's debate. There were no knockout blows landed, no real catalysts to encourage people to change their minds or make them up and pretty much nothing we didn't already know came to light. Iggy didn't show poorly, none of them really did. None of them really ...

If you get enough customers you might be able to. If you have a fairly wide experience with online media you have even more possibilities since well designed interactive content online is still a growing trend. If all you do is build static pages for small clients though you'll struggle since as men...

People laughed when Howard Stern departed radio for satellite and he's still going strong. I'd say it's a little premature to go write off Beck. Hell, he might be signing off from FOX so he can run for President. 8O Now THAT is a scary thought considering he might actually have a chance with all hi...

I'm a developer myself, I've been in the field for 12 years or so now. Web development is really a combination of the programming and the graphics element. If you can handle a bit of both you'll be well situated. In my opinion, a piece of paper generally doesn't matter a lick anymore. If you can pro...

It was funny when she did her campaigning by train last time, she only made appearances at places with VIA rail stations, I think her campaign went broke before the election was over. That's probably why the Green Party didn't elect anyone.. the rails don't go to nearly as many places as a bu...

Gilles Duceppe has always been a few fries short of a plate of poutine, and for anyone to think anything he ever says has some kind of merit/truth, then your nuts. He's nothing more than a delusional separatist. -J. Actually I find he's quite the opposite. He's a well spoken person who is generally...

Back to the original topic at hand. My take is that if you're running candidates in a federal election in a large percentage if not all ridings in Canada (the greens are) you should have a chance to get your voice heard and your message out no matter who you are or where your bias is. The current fo...
