I really don't see what's so wrong with Quebec having to play hardball to preserve their way of life. So if natives use distasteful tactics to preserve their culture, it's ok then? I smell a double standard here. So far he's said what's not ok for anyone else is perfectly acceptable for Quebec. Non...

Even the thought of leaving it to 'survive or die' makes me question your Canadianism. That's a good way to start an argument with me. Who are you to question my patriotism? Whoever I have to be. Like it or not, Quebec was pivotal in the creation of this country and has always been important...

Punished? lol.. Draconian fascist law? lol. This is about the survival of the majority in Quebec which are francophone. If this law 'punishes' the minority so be it. This is about much more than that. You should take a look at how the Natives have done this, then rethink your position. There is a m...

... Then let's pack our bags and become Americans.. Assimilation has its place, but asking Quebec to is a bad call. Jeez, they helped form this country, let's not do them the disservice of asking them to assimilate. So It's ok to assimilate everyone into Quebec but not for Quebec to be assimilated ...

am a strong supporter of Quebec's language laws. It's the only way to avoid assimilation. I am happy Nunavut is finally moving forward in this area as well. Whats wrong with assimilation? i think quebec's law did a lot to destroy Irish and Scotish culture in the past 30 years. ... Then let's pack o...

Rubbish. Don't cry 'freedom' for taking action to protect a culture. It's not like you are jailed if you speak English in Quebec. Not every 'harsh' action qualifies as truly taking away freedom.

Dion is doing just fine. I don';t see how the Conservatives hope to get any more people to their cause when all they can do is spit venom at people. And that's the problem the Conservatives will run into when they seek a majority government--they'll only be able to tell folks why they shouldn't vot...

Oh yes, this applies to all Liberals. Let's blame all of them for some extremist psychopath who decided he can't play fair and decided to try and stop the defame of his opinions, instead causing the complete stereotypical defamement of anyone who is Liberal-Minded. In short, Fuck LiberalVide...
