| I really don't see what's so wrong with Quebec having to play hardball to preserve their way of life. So if natives use distasteful tactics to preserve their culture, it's ok then? | am a strong supporter of Quebec's language laws. It's the only way to avoid assimilation. I am happy Nunavut is finally moving forward in this area as well. | Rubbish. Don't cry 'freedom' for taking action to protect a culture. It's not like you are jailed if you speak English in Quebec. Not every 'harsh' action qualifies as truly taking away freedom. |
