A bit off topic, but I've noticed massive ideological differences in opinion over this.
The National Post comments (and recommendations) were purely negative in regards to this decision, while the Globe and Mail and CBC they were almost unanimously positive.
Divided country? |

Demographics trumps war.
The Argies could've had the Falklands if the Falklands had a large Spanish/Argentine population.
They don't.
I doubt they will attempt to take over the island again.
Who fights wars with bombs anyways? Demographics trumps war. |

By STEVEN PINKER On the day this article appears, you will read about a shocking act of violence. Somewhere in the world there will be a terrorist bombing, a senseless murder, a bloody insurrection. It's impossible to learn about these catastrophes without thinking, "What is the world coming t... |

Gunnair Gunnair: Yeah... that's it. Nailed it. He's just out to fuck those guys that are breaking the law.
Everyone else just calls that being a big meanie... or doing his job. One of the two.

Is your ignorance a result of naïvety or are you doing some of your own product quality control? that must be some seriously wicked shit to cause that much impairment. My shit is home grown. Then concern yourself with what Ottawa's up to instead of Mexico. You're on their hit list. Harper won and h... |

Those 'trailer trash' people aren't any threat to anyone but themselves, or other trashy people of other races (the poor blacks and mexicans they share social sphere with). If he went in hard, it's the people who actually wield power who might do something problematic. The poor blacks, and poor whit... |

Then the gangs would focus harder on human smuggling and prostitution evn that more intensely and up the cocaine production to make up for losses from pot. the violence would continue, and likely escalate, as more and more groups fought for a smaller or other market. IMO Barack came in as a perennial outsider. The US has been ruled, not just by whites, but specifically whites from a certain 'social stock', upper class WASPs, for more or less most of its post (and pre) industrial history. This man comes along, defying all expectations (he wasn't expected to beat ... |

Legalizing drugs in the US won't solve Mexico's lack of employment opportunities and civil service corruption.
But it will make the world a better place in general. |

The USA's problems are also mostly self created. Usually due to extremist politics from both the left and right. IMO USA's corp tax rate is way too high already. Drop it to something more manageable - 10-15%. Harmonize cap gains with regular taxable income. Cap military expenditure as a percentage o... |

Why this matters, I see no reason.
Does anyone care if university grads working at department stores just a little above minimum wage are over qualified? Mind you, they make far less than strippers.
Strippers actually make good money. Possibly more than most university grads. |

Man the Russians got some money. They will come here and snap up literally dozens of luxury cars in one go, all cash. And when the property boom was a at a peak, they would gobble up property at inflated prices without any qualms. I remember we did an exclusive trip for a Russian Client, 6 people, ... |

Russians as well, they love the EU :) Russians run Thailand! Especially some of the resort towns, almost everything is owned by them. No surprise with the Chinese, they know China is not stable long term. Only 50 years ago, the rich were dispossessed at gunpoint by the CCP peasants, they know the d... |
