Drowning, statistically, is a huge threat for kids. I spend a lot of time teaching my kids respect for water. Especially moving water, but pools as well. And I never take my eyes off of them when they are in the lake. It can happen too fast. Right on Zip, thats all the we need to do as society to a...

While I applaud the search effort and am grateful they found her, I'm still dubious how they could have missed her sleeping in her own bed. Also, Holmes says, something as simple as a blanket can sometimes obscure a scent trail, Thanks for letting anyone interested know how to obscure their scent tr...

Wow, I expected a conversation relative to the article but guess that was too much to hope for. Gun registry or not there will always be criminals in possession of guns (the majority of which are stolen from licensed/registered users), deal with it, I knew of a guy in high school that sold guns out ...

I think they're too coward to take their own lives. Kinda like those that go on shooting sprees, hoping to get killed by police.

Suicide is a sin so they won't be accepted into heaven if they kill themselves

Some people will believe anything, and they find charismatic leaders to tell them what to believe. You have only to look at all the cults/religions and their followers to see the effects 1 person can have on a group of "believers", for the rest of us, we continue to shake our heads and won...

I think he makes a good point.

Oh, don't get me wrong, his point is a good one, I just think he went to some rediculous extremes (intentionally) to make it.

If there was an unobstructed bike lane on that street, why would he not have used it? I agree, unobstructed and when it is obstructed he can ues the right lane in traffic. I know your a cyclist Andy, but guys like this one do nothing but lower everyones opinion of them. Plus he's not wering a helmet.

Do motorists intentionally run into things in their way, get real, I can understand his point but I'm sure he didn't get the ticket for just riding around an obstacle. At least they have bike lanes, calgary has a good path system but no way I can make it to work and back on a bike.

Sad and disgusting that our vets are treated this way, all he wants now it an apology and for his house to be restored, small potatoes considering he was at the point where he was trying to take his own life. The VA needs an overhaul, put some people who give a shit in palce.

Partonize them and further the stereotypes, they (for alot of them) don't care to learn the truths, just further your own fun by allowing them to believe what they will, oh and show them pics of our glorious country, they won't believe them.
