According to this report, the herd was at a count of 18 for 2001-2002. So long before the coal company showed up, there were signs of these caribou being endangered. http://www.centralbccaribou.ca/downloads/scbcreport.pdf Which makes it more puzzling the count that First Coal is claiming. http://www...

The Cyrus kids need some serious professional help but Billy and the executive slimeballs are beyond help and should be dropped into the nearest pit.

I would have a hell of a time keeping it together after seeing the personal effects. It brings it all home when you realize many of them were just kids.

"I'm the most heartbroken by the fact that our people are still living on corn," Kim was quoted as saying in a report monitored by South Korea's Yonhap news agency. It should have been "I'm the most heartbroken by the fact that my bull-headedness, lack of care and stupidity caused al...

This is not much different from putting people in concentration camps, away from their resources and culture, and preventing them from working, and then pointing at them and saying "Look how they live in squalor and laziness!" What type of concentration camps are you reffering to? Are you...

According to what I read on this, the coal company started their project in late 2008 but were stopped with a cease and desist in early 2009. Sincethen the West Moberley have been attempting to get the permit revoked. Some articles make it seem like it was because of the mining that the herd was red...

What I would do is simply remove the racial chacrteristics of teh relationships. Inidans are currently "defined" in legislation. If you have a sufficient amount of Indian blood in you, you are a bebeficiary of Act. However, no other nation on Earth acts like the First Nations. Canada is a...

Agreed Gonavy. This is the same group that killed and disposed of stray animals in a dumpster as an act of kindness.

They're just feckin' weird in my books.

My brother showed me his new Mass Effect 2 game. I saw the graphics and all I could say was "whoa!".

Apparently I was told two of the recognizable voice actors were Martin Sheen and the guy who voiced adult Enzo from the final "Reboot" series.

Windows XP. I haven't had a single problem with it from day one.

Another reason I use XP is because my computer is too old to handle Windows 7. Being a cheap so and so, I won't shell out for a new comp since I only use this one for surfing the net and playing old PC games.

Can someone throw in the 1991 Pontiac Sunbird LE onto that list? I must have spent over $3500 in maitenance in 2-3 years and it still broke down with over $800 estimated in repairs. I gave it up last year to a fire brigade for practice. It's been melted down since for use on a bridge that was being ...

WTF are these rep points you all are on about?

LOL! It wasn't until this thread that I realized there is a rep point system. I just looked at mine and someone gave me a minus one. But considering who it came from, I'll wear it like a medal.

A rep point coming your way Akhenaten.

I'm grateful they arrested this guy. I think Canada has learned never to take chances since the Montreal massacre. Even if it was a joke, it was a very sick joke. He needs to spend a little time in a cell and some more time prohibited from owning weapons. It's fascinating to know the genius' idea of...
