And I have never watched or listened to any of their shows. But I have watched CBC and CTV news. I'll stick with my view that OUR (Canadian not Yank) media is left leaning from what I've seen and listened to and the CBC and CTV are what most Canadians have access to, not all those weird shows you m...

Compared to some other media sources, they aren't that bad. Some of their reporters do show some bias, but I think overall the CBC isn't as biased as Fox, the Western Standard or the Star. I still think CBC is better than Global. You wanna talk about damning with faint praise? :D Of course, none of...

And he just looks so manly playing the piano. For me, probably the biggest millstone around the Conservatives (and in turn against me being able to hold my nose and vote for them) is the Harris NKOTB retreads like Flaherty and Clement. They pooched it big time here in Ontario and have connived...

But if the reaction to health care reform in the US is any indication of the resistance to changes in the status quo, I don't see them getting off the fossil fuel teat anytime soon.

I suspect a certain phrase repeatedly uttered by Charlton Heston would fit the bill.

And what's your point? Wow! You always this dense? What part of 'wages stagnant for a generation' doesn't compute as being a bad thing in your reality? What part of 'wealth increase disproportionately focused on wealthy minority' doesn't compute in your reality? What's your malfunction, numb nuts? ...

Greed, selfishness and saving a nickel at Walmart is more the factor than anything else. If there isn't a cross-section of middle-class jobs on this continent (and in this country), then the majority of us are doomed. Period. The bold in your quote describes to a T most unions and their workers. Sa...

They didn't start a company, did they? You're blaming the boiler stokers for the iceberg there, Cap'n. Doesn't matter. They're in the business of making money. Move the goalposts much? You're the one talking about the hard-working, company founder and the evil unionists depriving him of his hard-wo...

Would you start a company, only to make nothing? That whole concept is such BS. Companies are in the business to make money. That's how it works. Companies are legally responsible to their shareholders. They didn't start a company, did they? You're blaming the boiler stokers for the iceberg there, ...
