Forum: General Jibber Jabber   Topic: Best and Worst Pick Up Lines

I use suttle pick-up lines, like: "hey, wanna have some fun?" or "C'mon, I'm gonna take you out for some real fun..." Things likethat. Always playful, and it usually works. :D

I agree, Tricks. The guy in the article is obviously retarded, as he has no clue about what goes on in the world. We Jeed to assert our sovereignty, carry out peacekeeping missions, provide humanitarian relief, in case of domestic disaster, the military is there to help. Face it, the Military is nee...

Why Norge? Doesn't make any sense.

Did it ever make sense ?

Norway is a typical white Christian infidel country, letting in way too
of the wrong immigrants.

Or maybe they raised the price of booze again ;)

The suspect arresting in the youth camp shooting is 1.9m tall and blonde.

Really, it's the lefty rhetoric which bugs the other 75% of Toronto and the GTA. Ford is making tough decisions that should have been made years ago. Toronto has been mismanaged for decades. Canada's largest city on the shores of Lake Ontario should be a showcase for the province if not the country...

I find the article is right to criticize Ford for many reasons listed in the article but of course, we all have to jump on the Somalia bit. Yes, it's an utterly ridiculous notion, but the "article" makes some rather accurate points about Ford.

For one thing, not one of our naval vessels is capable of dealing with ANY ice, so a similar exercise would be without ships, which carry a lot of the equipment and supplies for such an exercise. Also, most airfields in the Arctic are not year round strips, so landing and taking off would represent...

And something very telling from the article: As a Wikileaks cable from the American embassy in Ottawa revealed, Washington looks on all this with condescending amusement, noting that, though Mr. Harper is forever making announcements An Arctic deep sea port! Armed patrol vessels! A new icebreaker...

To steal from Bismark; The whole of Libya is not worth the bones of a single Canadian soldier. Too true. And even with the help they get, the rebels are too lazy to do the job themselves. How the Hell are they lazy? They have no money, very little training, and their army consists of former civilia...

We should be doing this posturing in winter; not in the summer time when it's warmer and there's little to no ice.

Yeah but they just wanna make sure it's about the achievemnent and that it doesn't devolve into some anti-US display of vitriol and rhetoric. Which is perfectly understandable. Nevertheless, I shall be celebrating with others about our achievements in that war, even though "Canada" the na...

Idiots. The Northwest Passage isn't the calm open ocean or the sandy shoals of the Caribbean. On the plus side, this is a roundabout way of recognizing the NWP as Canadian since they're suing us. :P

I think the article makes some good points. Conservative intellectuals of the 30s, 40s, and 50s studied history and derived some fundamentally rational and legitimate criticisms of the social system of their time. Gaining influence as a backlash against the hippy movement of the 60s, they continual...
