| For every day Canadians the monarchy seems not to mean much. However, for our armed forces the monarchy seems to play a more of a role, history and by tradition. I for one support the monarchy, as it is a direct link to our history and a part of our culture. |

| Agreed, the UN is useless it has no army; but other countries mostly the USA. Also, I would hope Canada would leave NATO "North Atlantic Terrorist Organization". |

| Since our national police force is telling the govt to allow US agents to operate in Canada, I have no faith in our RCMP. |

| how does this "give away" our sovereignty? Why do we need US police in Canada, it only takes a phone call and we can nab the criminal our selves. This is insulting to have this happen to us. Next will be US drones in Canada, who says what they can look at where they can fly etc. It appear... |

| I agree, its time to abandon our ties to the monarchy. Our relationship with the US needs some work I feel, as its still one sided as Canada does not seem to be treated as an equal in regards to trade and security policy. IE. the beyond the border agreement. |

| So you are saying no foreigner coming to this country should hand over THEIR info? :roll: My only biggest issue is mostly when flying even if you do not touch US soil Homeland Security wants all the passengers info. So if you fly from Europe to Canada the airlines are required to file the passenger... |
