Alberta's agriculture minister is not ruling out additional support for farmers concerned about the impact the province's upcoming carbon tax will have on their operations.

Actually yes, and the divide spans political boundaries - about two-thirds do not support the NDP's plan.

63% against:

The only real strong support for it comes from NDP voters really, Liberals and other progressives mostly don't like the NDP plan either (for a variety of reasons).

If a tax on carbon cures it, why not put a tax on cancer, oh wait, emissions are still going up in BC even with a carbon tax.
