Ian Tyson was the perfect candidate for a Heritage Canada project to pair iconic songs and military bands to honour Canada's World War I history.

Saw this on the national. Very nice piece. Tyson puts out a lot of class. As does his father, who apparently was a war hero but Tyson didn't realize because his father didn't talk about it much. Typical of that generation.
