California Assembly votes to ban all products with toxic plastic microbeads

The California Assembly voted 58-11 in favor of banning the microbeads, which are found in toothpaste and body washes and are responsible for tons of plastic water pollution.

It's said the perfect capitalist will sell you the rope you use to hang them. Makes sense they'd vote for the short term money versus the long term sustainability.
