Muslim files complaint after Kamloops jail told him to use a towel as a prayer mat

KAMLOOPS - A Muslim man has filed a human rights complaint alleging the staff at the Kamloops jail refused to allow him to practise his religion while he was behind bars.

He got a Qur'an and prayer beads. Christians get a Bible and a cross necklace. He was treated no different than the other main religion. Besides, inside everyone is the same, a criminal. Do our time and get out then rejoin the rest of the normal people world.

Bit I am shocked, shocked, that every jail hasn't converted to halal food, and keeps a stock of muzzie prayer gear.

Surely, the HRT will order this travesty fixed.

Damn Christians, it's just oppression.
