A new video is released showing a British man, identified as journalist John Cantlie, believed to be held hostage by Islamic State militants.

    So another one, in addition to the taxi driver and the 3 others IS has killed already.

    At least they acknowledge the money side of things.

    Dressed in orange, Mr Cantlie, who in 2012 escaped an earlier kidnapping in Syria, asks why he and others have been abandoned by the US and UK governments.


    He was not 'abandoned'. To the contrary both governments have issued travel advisories for the region due to the presence of large numbers of ignorant, head-cutting moslems. And he went there anyway in the mistaken belief that his press credential would magically protect him from harm.

    I feel for him and his family yet the fact remains that he knowingly endangered himself no different than if he went surfing in shark infested waters. Is it then the fault of the government when a shark attacks you?

    At the same time, I hope that the terrorists meet with a painful and certain death.
