I didn't have the opportunity to go to many Canuck games but one that I did attend was was Gino's first game as a Canuck. He had just arrived that day (called up from the farm team at the time I think) and they didn't even have time to put his name on the jersey he wore. LOL. I remember the murmur in the crowd wondering "Who is this guy?" We soon found out and he became a fan favorite.
I will always remember his big grin after having a scrap. Also how excited he got when he scored a goal and how Bure was excited for him as well. While a Canuck he was the guy I always rooted for, not as a super star, but as the guy who always put that extra effort in for the team. He wasn't a leader with words or goals, but he was with his desire to Win and to sacrifice his own comfort to motivate the team.

Enjoy the time you have left Gino.
