You can be sure this witchunt is ONLY due to the poor performance of Russia in Vancouver.

Couple of heads will be lopped off, but just watch how much they blow for Sochi. ;)

...Sports Minister Vitaly Mutko charged 97 breakfasts to the Russian taxpayer during his 20-day stay in Vancouver. Why he would need five breakfasts per day -- costing $4,500 in total -- went unexplained.

    I've NEVER had a $46 breakfast. 8O

Oh yeah, the athletes didn't perform so there must have been an issue with funding and the sports ministry. Ummmm, maybe the other nations are just more even with them now, Maybe when other nations put a concerted effort into their program, they Russians aren't the big players anymore. Maybe this time around the Russians just didn't have a strong team. Maybe Russians amateur/professional athletes just don't have the edge anymore.

Most of that will be spent to make sure nothing blows up in Sochi...it's not the safest place in the world....and Russians aren't the greatest when it comes to saving hostages.

Their poor performance in Vancouver has less to do with funding than with Dick Pound and his World Wide Ant-Doping Organization.

I wonder if that's why we didn't see Russian women speedskaters with testicles. 8O
