There are plenty of orphans in america and canada that need a family... But i guess people dont care because the arent as good as a story to your friends like an orphan from haiti would be
Canada wasn't ruined by decades of abuse at the hands of governments nor has it suffered such a shattering disaster. I am willing to bet that people do care about Canadian orphans, but orphans in Canada are in better care conditions. When the options are let kids die, or help them. Clearly people are going to help.
