There is no reason for the military to study its role in the rescue operation after a helicopter crash near eastern Newfoundland last March, a defence department official told an inquiry into offshore helicopter safety in St. John's Wednesday.
If thos making billions of dollars from off shore rigs are worried (including MP jack harris)...then maybe they should spend their own money on their own "Search and Rescue services."
Would it not make sense that there would always be a chopper ready to go no matter what. Sorta like saying you have all the fire trucks away at once , it adds time to the rescue .
